Clarifying “student well-being” within the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP) to include balanced technology use and emphasis on integrating technology with safeguards for students’ physical and mental well-being.

Expanded Resources for School Districts & Families Focused on Digital Wellness
Expand the number of resources offered by the California Department of Education promoting healthy digital habits for students. Ensure the resources are relevant and research-based materials and able to integrate with current parent and family engagement initiatives statewide.
